So many patterns and colours and then there is the whole price issue. It seems I have expensive tastes! I had a vision in my head of how I wanted her room to look and it has ended up veering away from the muted pinks, mustards and mints I had planned and become a bit more pastel.
It is her room after all. During my search I did come across lots of lovely designs for snuggling down in at night so thought I would share a few of these with you all for some weekend perusal.
The aforementioned mustard number might have to give way to this monochrome animal face duvet. Alice has requested the pink panda version unsurprisingly. The quality is always great and they have had lots of fun prints.
I was tempted to buy the mint star print bedding but after popping in to store this week this flamingo print is now one of the favourites. Scandiborn stock a large range and this cat print and Panda Print are my current crushes.
I bought the girls cot bed bedding from John Lewis and actually had a version of this star and chevron one for the girls cot. I wanted something a bit more neutral and this fitted the bill.
I have also been eyeing up this mermaid duvet cover for some time.
They have everything from a astronaut to a jockey too. A much cheaper option is from good old Wilko. More graphic designs can be found at This Modern Life. I particularly like this mountain and bear print and am a big fan of the Nobodinoz prints and colours. I also love the colours of the collections at Rowen and Wren.
This is exactly what I was trying to achieve and this checked duvet would be lovely layered with some more colourful blankets and cushions. I really need to get more decisive. This cherry print bedding is so good though. Finally Zara is firm favourite with the team for their beautiful prints and designs in the most gorgeous colour palettes.
This elephant bedding is amazingly cute.
Although the USA look set to ban manufacture of them the UK has a different set of rigorous safety standards and will not be. This is exactly what I was trying to achieve and this checked duvet would be lovely layered with some more colourful blankets and cushions. Premamma does wonderfully sophisticated pieces for mums to be who want to look and feel their best up to —and past — term.
Has anyone else seen any gorgeous designs or excellent bargains I must know about? Just need to find that elusive duvet cover!
